Biography

I am a wanderer. A nomad of sorts. Everyday I look at some event, some object, some person and wonder: "Do other people see this the way I do?" I think the reason I like to spend so much time behind a lens is because it is how I relate the world to people. How I share my world view.

It is how I communicate.

I see emotion, thought, struggle, in everything I capture. I don't consider myself special by any stretch of the imagination. I don't think my photographs have any epic weight in the world.

But I hope they do.

I love my family. I love the world around me. I love biology. I am head over heels for my girl. My best friend. I am loyal. I appreciate the things in this world that I believe were created for us to enjoy. Wildlife. Sunsets. Sunrises. Babies. Music. Life.

I try to convey at least one of these things in every photograph.

I am a spectator.
